Experience:
Ms. Decatur has extensive experience representing businesses and individuals in a wide range of commercial matters in federal and state courts and before administrative agencies. Her practice focuses on business related disputes, including product liability, unfair competition, unfair and deceptive trade practices, breach of contract, breach of fiduciary duties, employment and insurance coverage disputes.
Ms. Decatur has experience representing clients in a variety of industries and areas including the automotive, manufacturing and distributing industries. On behalf of her automotive dealership clients, she has litigated franchise matters and handled dealer appointments, dealer protests, manufacturer and termination disputes.
Ms. Decatur devotes a significant portion of her practice to counseling and advising clients as to strategies to minimize the risk of litigation. She counsels clients on issues from the pre-litigation stage of a dispute through trial, settlement or alternative dispute resolution.
