Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly has called Ellen Zucker a “dynamic trial attorney” who is among the most powerful attorneys in Massachusetts. Chambers USA lists her as a “notable practioner” who is known by her peers as “a wonderful lawyer … smart as a whip, very engaging and terrific on her feet.” Ms. Zucker is a Partner in the Firm’s Business Litigation, Labor & Employment and White Collar Criminal Defense Groups. She has successfully litigated and resolved a wide range of employment matters and obtained favorable results for clients in business litigation. She has also secured positive results for clients charged in federal court with money laundering, identity theft and business fraud. Ms. Zucker’s clients include executives and professionals, as well as construction workers, private businesses and public charities. She has been lead counsel for clients with disputes in several jurisdictions.

Ms. Zucker served as law clerk to the Honorable Judge Nancy Gertner, in the Federal District Court of Massachusetts. She is admitted to the Massachusetts bar, the US District Court of Massachusetts and the First Circuit Court of Appeals for Massachusetts.

Ms. Zucker is an active member of the legal community and has held leadership positions in local bar associations as well as in national and local advocacy groups. She serves on the Board of Editors for the Massachusetts Bar Association Journal and is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association's Law Review Editorial Board. She has also served on the Board of Editors of Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. From 2006 to 2007, she chaired MassEquality.Org. Ms. Zucker has been on the board of directors for the Women’s Bar Association on the legal committee of the Massachusetts Chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union. She served on the national boards of both the National Organization of Women (NOW) and the National Association of Criminal Defense Attorneys (NACDL). Ms. Zucker is also on the faculty of Suffolk University Law School.
