Experience:
Prior to joining Burns & Levinson LLP in January 2006, she was Of Counsel to Perkins Smith & Cohen LLP. Ms. Chapman was also an associate at Cesari & McKenna and an associate at Dishong Law Offices. She has eleven years’ experience in US and PCT patent application preparation and prosecution, and US trademark prosecution. Preceding her law career, she held a variety of technical positions including principal engineer at Digital Equipment Corporation, and software engineering positions contracting with and working directly for NASA, DoD, and NOAA. She is a licensed Engineer-in-Training.
Ms. Chapman has a diverse technological background including more than two decades of experience in computer systems software and software/hardware interfaces, computer diagnostics, computer operating systems, computer networking and telecommunications, computer language use, computer language compliers, distributed database management systems, and artificial intelligence. She formed an ANSI standardization committee for standardizing software engineering processes, and chaired the editorial committee of X3J13, an ANSI standardization committee that wrote of the ANSI Standard for Common LISP (an artificial intelligence computer language). Ms. Chapman is an active member on the New Hampshire High Tech Council committee as well as the North Shore Technology Council committee.

Additional Information:
- Ms. Chapman is a member of Mason, New Hampshire, tuitioning committee of the Mason School Board in which she is coordinating tuitioning contracts for the students in Mason. She is also a Supervisor of the Checklist in Mason, and is part of the volunteer Emergency Medical Services team in Mason. She previously served on the board of Trustees and was the finance committee chair and the treasurer for the Pine Hill Waldorf School in Wilton, NH. She served as parent coordinator for the first capital campaign of the High School Mowing School in Wilton, NH, and parent ambassador at the St. Paul’s School in Concord, NH. She served on the Finance Committee for the Town of Pepperell, MA.
