Experience:
Prior to joining Burns & Levinson LLP, Mark was for many years a partner and chair of the Personal Law Group at Sherin and Lodgen LLP. Mr. Nowak's practice focuses on strategic estate and tax planning, estate and trust administration, the operation of non-profit organizations, and business succession planning. Additionally, Mark serves as a fiduciary for clients, helping to insure the proper implementation of their plans. He also has experience in corporate and health care law.
Mr. Nowak has been a contributing author of the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) practice manual "Drafting Wills and Trusts in Massachusetts" since its inception. He was selected by the MCLE to serve as one of the three co-editors in chief of the manual's 2007 and 2012 revisions. Mark has also been published in legal and business journals both regionally and nationally, and has lectured on estate planning topics.
