Experience:
Prior to joining Burns & Levinson LLP in 2003, Mr. Brook was a corporate associate at Bingham McCutchen LLP. He has a general corporate and securities practice and represents public, private and emerging growth companies in a variety of corporate and securities matters, including the structuring and financing of start-up ventures, venture capital, mergers and acquisitions, securities law compliance, formation of joint ventures, licensing and commercial transactions. Mr. Brook also has represented investment banks, private equity firms and venture capital firms in public and private equity and debt offerings, mergers and acquisitions and leveraged buyouts.
After his second year of law school, Mr. Brook was a summer law clerk at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission. Prior to law school, he worked as a trader for a large mutual fund and life insurance company.

- Mr. Brook was selected for inclusion in Massachusetts Rising Stars® (2010 and 2009). Super Lawyers and Rising Stars employ an annual jurisdictional selection process. Only five percent of lawyers in the state were selected to the Super Lawyers list and 2.5 percent to the Rising Stars list. The listing appears annually in the November issue of Boston magazine and in New England Super Lawyers.
