Many of our clients seek to outsource to or begin operations in emerging economy sectors such as India. Burns & Levinson is actively involved in structuring investment vehicles for clients interested in investing in these sectors, and coordinating with its network of legal, governmental, banking, business, and investment firms in India for optimal fit. We are also able to devise off-shore strategies to assist Indian companies in a “scaling up” phase seeking to merge with or acquire firms in the US or Canada, create a joint venture, a subsidiary or a branch office. Similarly, Burns & Levinson represents US clients seeking an Indian or Asian off-shore subsidiary, joint venture, BOT, or merger with an off-shore entity.
