Leading U.S. tradeshow organizer 5Net4 Productions hired Burns to help them extend the reach of their well-known Abilities Expo brand into Canada via a strategic partnership with Caneast Shows. Held annually in seven major U.S. cities, the Abilities Expo brings ability-enhancing products and services to the community of people with disabilities.

We worked closely with 5Net4 to structure a license of the Abilities Expo brand that allowed Caneast to leverage its goodwill and market presence, and simultaneously protected our client’s brand by registering the Abilities Expo trademark in Canada. We successfully closed the deal for our client, and the first Abilities Expo in Canada debuted in January 2017.
