Burns helped the Society for Information Display (SID), a non-profit association serving scientists, engineers, corporate researchers and business people of the display industry, expand its reach and membership offerings to the Far East – specifically, to China. Our team worked diligently to analyze the various ways in which SID could operate in China, ranging from a branch office presence to a wholly-owned Chinese subsidiary.

We worked closely with SID’s Board of Directors and Director of Operations, and collaborated with an experienced Chinese attorney/colleague to design the best possible solution to meet SID’s needs. By collaborating with outside contacts and resources, Burns was able to effectively and efficiently help our client begin achieving its goals of providing education, industry meetings and conferences to the substantial display industry market in the Far East, having launched its first Asia-based conference in Fuzhou, China, the SID International Conference on Display Technology.
