Boston, MA, Jan. 7, 2022 – Burns & Levinson has added four lateral attorneys – Meghan Fay, Douglas Ginn, Taylor Makson, and Janet Scognamiglio – to its team.

Meghan Fay is an associate in the Real Estate Group, where she focuses her practice primarily on residential real estate conveyancing. Fay joined the firm from a law firm in Cambridge, MA. She received her J.D., magna cum laude, from New England Law, and her B.A., cum laude, from Boston College.

Douglas Ginn is an associate in the firm’s Cannabis Business & Law Advisory Practice, where he advises cannabis businesses across a wide range of corporate and transactional matters. Before joining the firm, he worked as a corporate attorney in Portland, Maine, where he focused on cannabis companies. Ginn earned his J.D. from Pepperdine School of Law and his B.A. from College of the Holy Cross.

Taylor Makson is an associate in the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. Prior to joining Burns & Levinson, she was an assistant district attorney at the Middlesex District Attorney’s Office, where she conducted over 30 jury trials in the district and superior court. Makson earned her J.D., cum laude, from Boston College Law School and her B.A. from Boston College.

Janet Scognamiglio is an associate in the firm’s Corporate Group, where she will handle business, finance and transactional work. She previously focused her practice on debt finance, including transactions involving venture debt, real estate and SBA financings. She received her J.D. from Boston College Law School and her B.A. from Duke University.
