Josef B. Volman, partner and chair of Burns & Levinson’s Corporate group, has been elected Boston chapter president of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) for 2016.
ACG Boston, the premier member-based association in New England, facilitates relationship-building and provides deal-related content to its members, which include private equity investors, intermediaries, corporate development professionals, lenders, M&A advisors and service providers.
“As a longtime contributor to and active participant in the ACG Boston deal community, Joe is an ideal president-elect,” said Peter Alternative, CEO and president of ACG Boston. “Most recently, he has done a superlative job leading the C-Series Breakfast events, which are a cornerstone of ACG Boston’s programming.”
Joe has been an ACG Boston member since 1999 and on the Board of Directors since 2012.
“ACG brings together leaders, pioneers of industry, commerce and finance in the Commonwealth, which leads to new opportunities for our economy,” said Joe. “I am honored to have been chosen as president of such a fantastic organization and look forward to assisting ACG Boston further enhance its role in our business community.”

Active in the community, Joe serves on the boards of the Jewish Family Service of Metrowest and Tufts Hillel.
