Two Burns & Levinson Attorneys Listed in Chambers USA 2018

Burns & Levinson announced today that two of the firm’s partners, Laura Studen and Ellen Zucker, have been recognized as “leading lawyers” in Chambers USA 2018 for Labor & Employment: Mainly Plaintiffs Representation in Massachusetts.
According to Chambers, Studen, receives “significant acclaim” as “a very good litigator.” She has handled complex disputes, including litigation in multiple venues and jurisdictions. She has been lead counsel in matters involving employment disputes including discrimination, wrongful discharge, workplace harassment, executive compensation and employment contract negotiations. Studen is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation and Employment Law, Massachusetts Super Lawyers, and was named a “Top Woman of Law” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2013.
Zucker was noted for having a “broad” practice, advising “on a wide range of matters.” She has successfully litigated and resolved employment matters, including compensation cases and employee rights, and obtained favorable results for clients in business litigation. Her clients include executives and professionals, as well as construction workers, private businesses and public charities. She has been lead counsel for clients with disputes in several jurisdictions. Zucker is listed in Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation, Massachusetts Super Lawyers, and was named a “Top Lawyer of the Year” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2009.
