Elizabeth Brady Murillo is the Director of Professional Development & Inclusion, leading the firm’s legal talent management.
Drawing on her 15 years as a practicing attorney at Burns & Levinson, Lizzie contributes to the firm’s success by optimizing the recruitment, integration, training, engagement, and retention of our talented team of legal professionals. In this capacity, she develops and implements educational, training, mentoring, career development, and performance evaluation programs for attorneys, patent agents, and technical specialists. Lizzie oversees firmwide legal recruiting efforts and runs our unique summer associate program. An active member of several firm-wide initiatives, including the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee and the Associates Committee, Lizzie enjoys collaborating with colleagues on the development of strategies, programs, and initiatives to help support our legal talent and shape the firm for the future.
After participating as a Summer Associate with Burns & Levinson in 2003, Lizzie joined the firm in 2004, first as an Associate and then Partner in the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. While practicing as a litigator, she rediscovered her passion for the development and training of others, inspiring a transition into the role of Director of Professional Development in 2018 and an expanded role as Director of Professional Development & Inclusion in 2020.
