Lorraine P. Stark

To best represent her clients, Lo relies on them as much as they count on her. She carefully listens to each client to gather the facts and circumstances unique to their situation, enabling her to devise a sophisticated strategy and navigate the law around their circumstances to best advocate on their behalf.

While her clients come to her facing a range of issues, they often share a common fear: the unknown. Some matters are reserved for the Courts to decide unless a resolution can be reached through negotiation or with the assistance of a neutral third party, known as a conciliator or mediator. Lo works with her clients to make the decision to best enable them to achieve their desired outcomes and whether it makes strategic sense to mediate or litigate. She educates and empowers her clients so that they can anticipate the next steps and become familiar with the potential outcomes.

Outside of work, Lo serves as a Justice Leader for Discovering Justice, a Boston nonprofit that helps students understand the justice system to prepare them to engage as active citizens and is an active member of the Wellesley Mothers Forum.
