“I come from a large, blended family myself and have had first-hand experience with the unknowns that are inherently a part of managing family and business interests,” she says. “I feel motivated to do what I do by knowing I can help provide clients with the comfort of knowing what the future will bring.”

She stays abreast of changes in what might constitute an estate by recognizing the value of such items as cryptocurrency and non-fungible tokens (NFTs). A native Spanish speaker, she works to ensure that clients from all backgrounds have a comprehensive understanding of their estate plans.

Outside of work, Sofia is actively involved with Minds Matter Boston, a non-profit organization that supports high school students from low-income communities with resources to prepare for college. She has served as a mentor to high school students, guiding them and others through the college application process and provides tips for essay writing, managing college finances, and adapting to college life away from home. In law school, Sofia was a leader of the Women’s Law Association and continues to advocate for women in leadership in the legal community.
