overview
Taylor Makson is an associate in the Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution group. She excels navigating the parameters of the law to achieve her clients’ goals, mapping creative strategies, crafting arguments, and collaborating with clients and colleagues across the firm.
As litigation can be a daunting situation for her clients, Taylor takes pride in demystifying the legal process and, if possible, negotiating dispute resolution prior to trial or even before filing a complaint. At the beginning of a matter, she listens to clients describe the issues and their objectives, then devises a strategy that she believes may help them achieve that end. “I strive to be realistic with clients about their desires and how the judge or jury may assess the circumstances. Managing expectations is essential to my practice.”
