Anthony Kassas is an associate in the firm’s Intellectual Property group. His practice focuses on helping startups and established companies develop and manage their patent portfolios through strategic general counseling and due diligence.
Anthony has extensive experience helping inventors obtain patents in cutting-edge technology spaces including optics; sensors; computer software and networking; fuel cells; chemical reactors and process controls; renewable energy systems; robotics; semiconductor handling; materials; medical devices; biotechnology; and a wide range of mechanical and electrical devices.
Anthony litigates matters involving intellectual property rights, including patent, trademark, and trade secret misappropriate suits. Anthony has been heavily involved in drafting successful dispositive motions and appeals on patent and damages issues. He is also proficient in protecting the world’s brand names from counterfeit merchandise distributors. On behalf of his clients, he leverages his engineering and legal know-how to systematically achieve favorable results.
Anthony was previously a Summer Associate with Burns & Levinson in 2019. He obtained his undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute with High Distinction and earned his J.D. at the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law.
