Carolyn Van Tine is a partner in the Firm’s Private Client Group. She focuses her practice on all aspects of matrimonial law. Her areas of concentration include divorce, custody, child support, modification, paternity, asset division, and non-traditional family litigation. In addition, she assists clients in pre-divorce strategy planning, as well as developing pre- and post-nuptial agreements and asset protection.
CiCi also handles enforcement and modification of decrees entered in other states, reciprocal child custody, and complex asset division. In addition, she deals with international parental abduction and other highly charged custodial matters.
Prior to joining Burns & Levinson, CiCi was a partner and Chair of the Family Law Group at Mirick, O’Connell, DeMallie & Lougee, LLP. She has also previously served as an Assistant District Attorney in Plymouth County and as a clerk for First Justice McGovern and Justice Boorstein in Middlesex Probate and Family Court.
