Daniel Navisky counsels employers and executives across industries to enable them to address complex employment challenges. Drawing on his in-house experience and work in the public sector, he helps serve as an “outside inside counsel.” Whether addressing policy implementation and disciplinary, leave, or wage and hour issues; supporting employment due diligence in corporate transactions; navigating non-competition, non-solicitation, and confidentiality matters; or advising executives on employment transitions, Daniel helps craft solutions for clients that are tailored to their unique cultures, needs, and business goals.

Prior to joining Burns & Levinson, Daniel served as Senior Vice-President and General Counsel to the May Institute, a national, nonprofit, human services provider based in Massachusetts, and practiced as an employment attorney and litigator at two Boston firms. Before becoming a lawyer, he had an extensive career in the leadership of the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington, D.C., and the public policy and nonprofit arena in Boston.
