In some cases, Devon has found that clients prefer to be hands-off due to stressful or frustrating circumstances. “I am continuously motivated to be a dependable person that my clients can count on to represent their best interests and worry about the difficult things, so they don’t necessarily have to,” she says.

Devon’s clients face a wide swath of potential issues, but they all share one commonality: all lawsuits arise out of some form of tragedy or alleged wrongdoing. Some of her clients are individuals or entities who have been wronged and are seeking legal recourse while others are defending themselves against legal action, and Devon takes pride in effectively achieving their goals while minimizing the amount of stress on her clients. She does so by remaining reliable, available, and unafraid of difficult challenges.

Devon received her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, where she participated in the Accelerator Practice clinic, and was a member of the Law Review. Prior to joining Burns & Levinson, Devon was a litigation associate at a regional insurance defense firm and a Boston firm that specializes in medical malpractice defense. At that firm, she represented clients in a variety of complex civil litigation matters, including representing physicians and other healthcare professionals accused of malpractice.
