Eilene Duberow is an Associate in the Intellectual Property group in the firm’s Boston office. Her practice involves patent prosecution in the field of life sciences, including biotechnology and pharmaceuticals. Eilene also assists clients with both prosecuting and maintaining trademark applications and registrations, respectively.

Prior to joining Burns & Levinson, Eilene was a research scientist at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, Inc., where her work focused on exploring epigenetic changes in breast and prostate cancer utilizing chromatin immunoprecipitation (CHIP) and Next-Generation sequencing. Also, while at the Harvard University Stem Cell Institute, Eilene applied the latest advances in cellular reprogramming to create a population of induced pluripotent stem cell (iPSC) lines to study genetic translocation events that influence myocardial infarction risk.
