Gabriel Goldman's practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual property development, acquisition and enforcement. Clients appreciate his knowledge of the law and how it can be used to benefit their businesses.

Regarding development and acquisition, Gabriel has collaborated on both established client portfolios as well as with start-up companies to develop and implement unique intellectual property protection plans. With a strong background in biomedical engineering, Gabriel has represented clients in a wide range of industries, including biotechnology, computer science, medical, electrical engineering, aeronautics and clean energy.

Notable cases have involved spinal, orthopedic and cardiac implant medical devices; surgical instrumentation; imaging technologies including medical imaging, spectroscopy, interferometry, cytometry, acoustic/Doppler imaging and thermography; flow design technologies; nanotechnology; biosensors and machine learning. Analytics are another focus, including bio/chemical data analytics relating to protein analysis and pharmacology, predictive analytics, big data analytics and data warehousing. Gabriel regularly provides opinion services to clients, including FTO and due diligence studies, infringement analysis, patentability evaluations and marketplace analysis.

Regarding enforcement, he has significant complex patent, trademark and copyright litigation experience. Gabriel is well-versed in managing court proceedings, case evaluation, infringement analysis, C&D practice, settlement negotiations and damages analysis. Further experience includes online enforcement proceedings including DMCA practice and UDRP proceedings, and counterfeit/gray goods protection including C&D, contracts and customs control.
