Laura Carroll is a partner and member of the firm’s Intellectual Property and Business Litigation groups. Laura concentrates her practice in intellectual property litigation, including patent, trademark, trade dress, trade secret and unfair competition matters. She also handles other business litigation matters, and has extensive trial experience in federal and state courts, arbitration and mediation. Laura's clients are in the manufacturing, medical, electronics and food industries.

    • Represents companies in firearms industry in intellectual property matters (including patent and trademark prosecution, licensing, and litigation)
    • Represents medical device companies in patent and trademark matters
    • Represents seafood processors and importers in trademark infringement lawsuits against competitors using infringing marks on their branded products
    • Represents trademark owners and applicants before the Trademark Trial and Appeals Board at the USPTO
    • Represented manufacturer against patent infringement claims by major competitor concerning process and device patent for coating die
    • Represented voice recognition company in lawsuit with ex-employee concerning ownership of software patent
