Molly Chung practices exclusively in the area of family law and divorce litigation. She has over seven years of experience representing sophisticated clients in contested and uncontested divorce, custody, modification, contempt, paternity, and equity actions.

Molly has extensive experience in the areas of complex domestic relations litigation, often including high-net-worth estates, business interests, and families with young children. She has experience conducting extensive discovery to uncover hidden marital assets and income, advocating for clients through high conflict custody battles, and negotiating intricate settlement agreements in a variety of domestic relations matters. She also works with parties who are mediating their issues, both as a neutral mediator and as an advisor to one party during the mediation process.

  • Lead counsel for plaintiff in trial on Complaint for Modification of child support and alimony. Successfully won a 53% reduction in client’s support obligation.
  • Co-counsel on seven trials in a six month period, including drafting of all pre-and post-trial pleadings, selection of exhibits, cross examination of witnesses, client trial preparation, motions in limine, and evidentiary issues.
  • Secured primary physical custody arrangement for father of four young children, which also allowed the father, the primary wage earner during the marriage, to remain in the marital home.
  • Negotiated and drafted divorce settlement agreement to divide multi-million dollar marital estate made up of two LLC’s, a corporation, a medical practice, a real estate trust, life insurance benefits, and a six-figure homeowner’s insurance claim.
  • Won favorable Temporary Order after written and oral argument so that client with seven figure annual income was ordered to pay less alimony than the 30-35% statutory cap sought by the opposing party.
  • Negotiated settlement which secured an alimony recipient’s right to receive additional alimony past the payor’s federal retirement age.
