Sofia Martinez-Guasch is an associate in the Trusts and Estates Group. Before joining Burns & Levinson as a first-year associate, she held positions at the firm as a summer associate and a law clerk. Sofia also served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Judge Mary R. Black in the Essex County Probate & Family Court and as a Staffer and Editorial Board member of the Journal of High Technology Law at Suffolk University Law School.

Sofia is actively involved with Minds Matter Boston, a non-profit organization that supports high school students from low-income communities with resources to prepare for college. Sofia has been a mentor to a high school student for the past two years and guides her mentee and other students through the college application process and provides tips for essay writing, managing college finances, and adapting to college life away from home.

In law school, Sofia was a part of the Women’s Law Association and served as President, Vice-President, and Secretary through all three years where she advocated and continues to advocate for women in leadership in the legal community.
