Burns & Levinson LLP has elected attorneys Ronald P. Barriere, Steven M. Mills and Dr. Janine Susan to the firm’s partnership.

Ron is a member of the firm’s Private Client group. His practice focuses on divorce, abuse prevention orders, custody disputes, actions involving the Department of Children and Families, paternity actions, and post-divorce modifications. He received a J.D., cum laude, from Suffolk University Law School and a B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Massachusetts Amherst.
Steve is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property group. He represents clients in patent and trademark matters, including U.S. and foreign patent prosecution, patent validity, infringement and licensing matters, corporate transactions, and opposition and litigation proceedings. He received a J.D. from Suffolk University Law School, a B.S. from the University of Notre Dame and a B.A. from Stonehill College.
Janine is a member of the firm’s Intellectual Property group. Her practice focuses on domestic and foreign patent prosecution, validity and non-infringement opinions, licensing matters, and opposition and post-grant proceedings in all areas of chemistry, biochemistry and molecular biology. She received a J.D. from Boston College Law School, a Ph.D. from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, and a B.S. from Millersville University.
