Two Burns & Levinson Attorneys Elected to Partnership

Boston, MA, April 1, 2020 – Burns & Levinson LLP has elevated two attorneys, Andrea Dunbar and Alex Khalarian, to the firm’s partnership effective April 1.
Dunbar is a member of the Divorce & Family Law and Trusts & Estates practices within the firm’s Private Client Group. As a partner, she will continue to focus her practice on all aspects of probate and family court litigation, including divorce, paternity, child custody, alimony, post-divorce matters, will contests, and representation of fiduciaries and beneficiaries, in Massachusetts and Rhode Island. She received her J.D., cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law in 2008 and her B.A., summa cum laude, from Salve Regina University in 2005.
Khalarian is a member of the firm’s Corporate Group, focusing on mergers and acquisitions. As a partner, he will continue to represent buyers and sellers in complex transactional matters, including stock purchases, mergers and asset acquisitions/dispositions, with a concentration on the technology, health care/life sciences and industrial sectors. Khalarian also advises public and private clients on a wide range of corporate matters, including contract negotiation, corporate governance issues and SEC compliance/disclosure. He received his J.D. from the Boston University School of Law in 2007 and his B.S.B.A., summa cum laude, from Northeastern University in 2003.
