Kaitlin Spurling's practice focuses on mergers & acquisitions, emerging companies, venture capital and private equity matters. She has represented clients on both the buy and sell-side of complex corporate transactions such as capital raises, equity financing, asset sales and stock purchases. She has also assisted in providing guidance to private companies on matters relating to corporate governance and equity compensation.

During law school, Kaitlin worked as a paralegal for a small firm in Boston that primarily represents emerging companies and early-stage ventures from initial formation to seed-stage financing and debt-based fundraising transactions, through the development of commercial relationships and expansion abroad. She assisted with the maintenance and management of the corporate record books of these companies. Prior to law school, Kaitlin worked at a medical malpractice law firm. She was a participant in Burns & Levinson’s Summer Associate Program in 2019.

While getting her B.A., Kaitlin received All-Academic honors from the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Association (ECAC) as a member of the Harvard women’s ice hockey team.
