Experience:
Andrea Martin joined Burns & Levinson in September of 2006, after participating in the Firm’s Summer Associate program in 2005. In her civil litigation practice, Ms. Martin represents both corporate entities and individuals in all stages of dispute resolution from initial consultation, administrative proceeding, negotiation and mediation, and court proceedings. Her practice covers a variety of business torts, including misrepresentation and fraud, and contractual disputes, including issues in contract formation, interpretation, performance, and payment.
Ms. Martin’s labor and employment practice involves advising clients on all forms of termination and discrimination claims, independent contractor status disputes, enforcement and interpretation of non-compete agreements, and wage and commission disputes. Ms. Martin has represented both employees and employers in disputes before the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, Massachusetts Labor and Workforce Development Organization and the Massachusetts state courts.
Ms. Martin’s practice has also focused on condominium trust disputes, residential property construction and disclosure disputes, and white collar criminal defense investigations.
