October 30, 2012

Burns & Levinson congratulates Boston area start-up organization CoachUp for winning a $50,000 prize at the 2012 MassChallenge Awards Ceremony. CoachUp is one of only 12 start-ups awarded the $50,000 “Gold Winners” prize at the October 23 ceremony. In total, MassChallenge awarded over $1 million to winners from a field of 1,237 applicants and 26 finalists.

CoachUp first turned to Burns & Levinson in 2011 to represent the company in all aspects of its business, including formation, financing and other organizational matters. The company connects amateur athletes with access to over 5,000 qualified coaches in over 50 sports across the U.S. via their website, www.coachup.com.

“We’ve enjoyed working with Burns & Levinson,” said CoachUp founder Jordan Fliegel. “They clearly know the tech and emerging space, and have been very helpful with CoachUp’s success.”

The firm also congratulates client NativeBrain for being recognized as a finalist in the 2012 MassChallenge.
