Boston, MA, Sept. 18, 2023 – Burns & Levinson LLP today announced that Paul Mastrocola, managing partner of the firm, has joined the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. Mastrocola will continue the firm’s long-time presence on the Chamber’s Board, following partner David Rosenblatt’s 20-year tenure on the Board.

Mastrocola served for two years as Burns & Levinson’s co-managing partner with Rosenblatt (who led the firm for over two decades) before taking over as managing partner in early 2023. As an employment lawyer, business litigator, certified civil mediator, and firm and community leader, Mastrocola brings a broad range of business acumen to his new Board position. He co-chaired the firm’s Business Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group for six years before being named managing partner. He has been an elected member of the firm’s Executive Committee since 2016 and has served on various leadership committees including strategic planning, collections, and associates.

“I am thrilled to be taking on this important new role working with the Boston Chamber’s leadership and members to help make our business community strong, diverse, and successful,” said Mastrocola. “It is an honor to lend my voice and expertise to our shared commitment to ensuring that our region continues to thrive and grow into the future.”

Mastrocola, who received his B.S., magna cum laude, in finance from Bentley University in 1990, is a founding member of the school’s Global Alumni Board, which was founded in 2012 as an overseeing body of the Bentley University Alumni Association made up of over 65,000 undergraduate and graduate alumni. He is also a founding member of the Bentley Executive Club, which he chaired for over 10 years, and previously served as president of the Bentley University National Alumni Association, chair of the Bentley Law Advisory Board, and as a guest lecturer at the school. He received the Harry C. Bentley Alumni Achievement Award from Bentley University in 2021. Mastrocola is also the past co-chair of the Business and Commercial Litigation Section of the Boston Bar Association.

He received his J.D. from Boston College Law School in 1995 and served as a Middlesex County Assistant District Attorney before joining Burns & Levinson in 1997.
