Burns & Levinson announced today that two of the firm’s partners, Laura Studen and Ellen Zucker, have been recognized as leading lawyers in Chambers USA 2018 for Labor & Employment: Mainly Plaintiffs Representation in Massachusetts.
Laura Studen has been lead counsel in matters involving employment disputes including discrimination, wrongful discharge, workplace harassment, executive compensation and employment contract negotiations. Studen is listed in The Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation and Employment Law, Massachusetts Super Lawyers, and was named a “Top Woman of Law” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2013.
Ellen Zucker has successfully litigated and resolved employment matters, including compensation cases and employee rights, and obtained favorable results for clients in business litigation. Her clients include executives and professionals, as well as construction workers, private businesses and public charities. She has been lead counsel for clients with disputes in several jurisdictions. Zucker is listed in Best Lawyers in America for Commercial Litigation, Massachusetts Super Lawyers, and was named a “Top Lawyer of the Year” by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly in 2009.
