Experience:
David Rosenblatt is Managing Partner of Burns & Levinson. His practice involves all phases of environmental law, including hazardous waste litigation and negotiation, permitting, and resolving environmental issues in real estate and corporate transactions. He frequently appears before the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection on a wide range of environmental matters.
Mr. Rosenblatt is particularly experienced in representing large defense groups in litigation and negotiation in complex Superfund cases. He has served as common counsel to such defense groups for Superfund sites located throughout New England and in other parts of the country. Mr. Rosenblatt's expertise also includes representing buyers, sellers, and financiers of contaminated property in which he functions to structure and negotiate agreements that address the environmental liabilities in such a way that transactions can proceed.

- In 2013, Mr. Rosenblatt was elected Fellow of the College of Law Practice Management.
- Mr. Rosenblatt served for three years as Co-Chair of the Boston Bar Association (BBA) Summer Jobs Program (2010-2012).
- During his professional career, Mr. Rosenblatt has authored numerous articles for trade publications, newspapers, and journals relating to environmental law. He frequently speaks at banking and industry seminars.
- Mr. Rosenblatt has served on the faculty of several continuing legal education programs.
- At Boston College, Mr. Rosenblatt served on the Environmental Affairs Law Review. He authored an article on the legal implications of recombinant DNA engineering, which was published in 1982.
- Mr. Rosenblatt is Past Chairman of the Law Firm Alliance (Alliance) - Term 2004-2007. The Alliance is a loose affiliation of mid-sized law firms created to provide a vehicle for clients to obtain competent and responsive legal services by providing a network of member firms for referral of legal matters.

Membership is by invitation and members are recognized by their peers as preeminent in their field. ACOEL members are dedicated to: maintaining and improving the ethical practice of environmental law; the administration of justice; and the development of environmental law at both the state and federal level.
