A leading firm in the cannabis industry, Burns & Levinson completed the Urbn Leaf acquisition with Statehouse Holdings, Inc (formerly Harborside, Inc) on behalf of client UL Holdings, Inc (Urbn Leaf). Following this sale and the acquisitions of Sublimation, Inc – a cannabis manufacturing company – and LPF JP Corporation (Loudpack) – a leading manufacturer, cultivator and distributor of cannabis brands – Statehouse became the largest and most developed vertically-integrated cannabis platform in the state of California.

Burns was one of the first major corporate law firms in the United States to develop a cannabis business practice, and has been handling M&A and high-level corporate and financing deals in the cannabis market such as the Urbn Leaf acquisition for nearly a decade.
